The last weekend in November my family attended the annual Apple Cup party at the Grimm's. I was more excited than usual to go watch the Apple Cup (a college football game with Washington rival schools battling for the prize), eat like a pig and see old friends because Dana was coming. I adore her and hadn't seen her since her wedding in July. I am a proud Geoduck (The Evergreen State College doesn't have a football team), but Kerry is a Coug, so we all wear WSU gear and root for them. The day ended with frosting on the cake when the Cougs beat the Huskies 26 to 22.
